Memorial Day Weekend 2010

We got to spend Jack's first Memorial Day up in Alexandria, MN with the Schauer and Allen families. We had a blast and Jack got to meet lots of his extended family. We wished Chris, Ronda, and the kids could have been there, that would have made the weekend perfect! But we did enjoy some great weather and Jack even got to go to a water park with his cousin Tyler!

Getting ready to check out the lake with daddy.

Cousin Tyler enjoying his caterpillar sprinkler!

Jack and Cousin Isaac hanging out, sharing stories.

Jack found his thumb!

Mama and her little boy!

Jack holding on to his puppy dog blanket!

Left to right, Katie, Colleen, Kathryn, me, Kristen, and Kim!

E-trade baby!

Mama and daddy enjoying some smiles from Jack.

Jack's first trip to the water park... he didn't seem to mind this part...

Or this part, but when daddy put his bottom in the water, he wasn't too enthused.

Cheesy picture of the family during the sunset :)

Jack Week 8!

I know Jack is only eight weeks old, but to us, it seems like the time has flown by! He is smiling, cooing, and wiggling more and more. The best part of it all is that he recognizes his mom and dad and smiles at us when he sees us.

Jack and his puppy dog blanket - I am hoping this will be his favorite!

Jack and daddy just hanging out and napping.

Jack and mama enjoying some cuddles.

Jack got visits from my college roommates, Bridget and Lynds.

His smile is getting easier to capture on film. Its soooo cute!

Jack may be skinny, but he is getting long. At his 2 month check-up, he was 18th percentile in weight and 52nd in height!

Angelman's Walk 2010

Jack was able to participate in his first Angelman's Walk to support his cousin Tyler. While he didn't actually "walk", per-say, there were plenty of volunteers to hold him while we walked. It was a beautiful day and lots of folks came out to walk for the cause.

Cousin Katie met Jack for the first time.

Cousin Kathryn walked with Jack.

Martha helped keep his bucket hat on and man, he looks comfy!

Twins! Had to get a picture with Grandpa Rog given the matching hats!

The Elusive Smile!

Jack started smiling a couple weeks ago, but man, its hard to capture it on film! We finally figured out how to get it done and Jack has been smiling more and more, which makes it easier. So, here are a million pictures of the cutest smile we have ever seen!

Jack Just Being Jack!

The beautiful thing about maternity leave is all the time I have to take pictures of Jack just being adorable. Here are some of my favorites!

Just hanging out ... sucking on his nuk.

This was Jack's second bath ... he seems to like the water and he is adorable!

After his bath, I think he was just wishing I'd put the camera down and get him dressed.

Oooohhhh.... bright lights!

Tummy time with Daddy!

More tummy time!

He loves his bouncy chair - lately he has been fascinated with the moon, star and lamb that hang from the top.

Here is Jack in his kangaroo pouch!

Watching Daddy Play Soccer!

Jon plays soccer and Jack got to go to watch him play for the first time. Of course, he had to show his support by wearing his soccer gear.

Nothing more adorable then comparing small babies to adult size things...

Daddy and son before the game.

Posing with mom... did you see my soccer socks?? Thanks Grandma Jan!

Jack and His Puppy

I am sure Kedzie still doesn't know what to think of Jack. All he knows is this tiny person came into the house, hasn't left yet, and requires lots of attention. To make it worse... he can't play with Kedzie yet, although Kedzie tries to make his presence known to Jack all the time!

What a comfy pillow you are! So warm...

When Jack does tummy time on the floor, Kedzie wants to play too! Don't squish the baby!

"Jack... why won't you play with me and my rope toy??!" - Kedzie

Jack fits perfectly!
